they are not raising their own body temperature due to overly hot water,

every woman who is pregnant should be careful of her ‘bump’ and make
her own informed decisions – not simply rely on some blanket safety
statement. You do need to keep the water temperature down and you should
only enter a hot tub or spa that you know is very clean. You don’t want
to risk any kinds of infections. If you are careful, keep cool and don’t
spend hours and hours in a foreign spa or hot tub then you should be just
